Pet and House Relationship in Architectural Photography

If you are a fan of architectures or is just fond of looking at home designs at the magazines, there is no doubt that you have seen many pictures displaying home designs and interior designs. In these pictures, architectural photography plays an important role in capturing the aesthetic essence of the structure you are seeing in the display. Both architecture and photography are scientific art. You just can measure the value of things depicted in both architecture and photography just by science or by its art value.

Architects from around the world particularly from DONISO LAB, GENETO, gh3, Atelier Kuu, Gracia, and Atmos studios which are located separately from New York to China are experimenting something different with their art of architectural photography. They try to connect their pictures of structures with life forms that associates with it, in this particular case, it’s the pets commonly found in your houses.

With the consideration of the relation between home owners and their pets personality that usually are tied close together, these studios are trying to catch these Pet and house relationship in the architectural photography pictures they take to advertise their designs in whatever means they use. Whether it’s their portfolio or magazines to posters, they catch photos of owners with their pets inside the designed structure or even pets alone in some cases. They hope this would bring enough connection to show pet owners what their future purchased house would be like with their pets in it.

While these methods raises questions like can an animal really represent a structure, for example would a St Bernard relate to a modern designed lodge in Alaska?, or would a Persian cat shows elegance in a house they would live in?, these questions would have to be answered by the audience who judges the pictures themselves. These architectural photography pictures however bring a different way to evaluate the compatibility of a customer who wants to buy a house and their pets to the house itself.
